The valued role of a Preceptor
As a preceptor, you will collaborate with faculty and students to advance nursing practice and education. Preceptors build professional relationships with their students based on mutual trust and open communication, assessing learning needs and encouraging inquiry.
Serving as a role model, you'll demonstrate the daily responsibilities and professional values and standards. Preceptors guide students in understanding practical realities like time management and prioritization.
Preceptor support is essential for students and their impressions often last a lifetime. We sincerely appreciate your service.
